🤓DEMO: Deleting & restoring my favorite non-custodial #lightning wallet, @PhoenixWallet.

PS. You have nothing to worry about if your seed phrase is saved properly and securely. This is the #Bitcoin Way. LFG! 🚀

Can you restore it to any wallet?

💡You can connect Phoenix Wallet to your #Bitcoin node (recommended for best privacy). By default, it is not set up that way.

This is a great demo of Phoenix Wallet. For those not aware, Phoenix is a non-custodial wallet that runs a full Lightning node on your phone. This demo shows that you can have a phone that gets lost or replaced and your funds are still fine, as long as you have your seed words.

Phoenix does not have Lightning addresses, so you still would need another wallet for Nostr Zaps.

Any indication if they will figure out a way to support LNAddresses?

I recall reading somewhere that it’s on their to do list if I’m not mistaken

I tried sending 10 sats from wallet of satoshi to phoenix wallet but it failed. Do I need to send more than 10k sats?

There is a minimum for the very first transaction. As long as you’re over it; you should be good to go.
