The generation difference between huge in these times
yup! i mean i’m okay with him having time to relax and chill out tbh, but it’s been hard to just have to randomly out of no where start looking for another job…
Generational warfare. It’s a sad economic system.
I’d try to not be too hard on the elders who are taking advantage of their position today, because they’re in for a world of hurt when the balance flips back. All imbalances correct.
Hmm yeah probably because of a retirement fund, but also people who have spent years in the same industry know when the good times part of the year and bad times part of the year is and will save during good times part of the year to spend during the bad times part of the year.
Strategy doesn't work if you have to spend everything during the good time part of the year
yeah, and he has had his house paid off since 2010, and my mom still works. they also deserve the time to relax
