It's pretty responsive too! I'm not sure if it's because I'm on a local relay and server, or if it's just fast in general. Loving it so far though!

I haven't been on odysee in some time. Used to use peertube a lot back in the fedi days.

Yeah it's pretty fast. It uploads fast, downloads fast and you can add multiple servers to blossom - drive and simultaneously upload to them.

Where will you host it at? If you get a lot of views, that will kill your bandwith in some cases

I'll be hosting in my rack. I have a fiber connection.

Nice. The only bad thing about blossom is that it uses sqlite for the database.......that is a terrible design decision.....You are better off using Minio S3 on your rack.

I did consider minio, at one time, but I like blossom because of its nostr integration. I don't forsee millions watching me play games. Especially, since I done play popular triple-A games. I usually play indie games. I'm looking forward to playing The Forever Winter

Looks like hzrd149 is barely working on Blossom.....Git barely has any activity......wtf....

Oh that's because he's working on a new implementation of blossom. He said that it'll be made more for a single user.

He just made this implementation..... Though lol

Yep 🤣😂

Minio is the way I guess.

I use it on my nostr instance for uploads

I'm looking to check out hornet's relay/storage setup

Ah ditto is the best. Relay, nip05, administrative controls, web UI, uses postgresql, spam filtering how you like it

I couldn't get it to work. I was really hoping to. At some point, I want to tear down my home lab setup and redo it behind nginx proxy manager. Right now I'm using cloud panel, but I get internal errors when I reverse proxy some applications. NPM would just be easier.

Oh. I will even help you install it when you are ready. I had to make one tweak to make it work right when used ams a reverse proxy (

How fast is your upload and download speed on fiber.

Oh I realized I have 1Gige fiber too and it sucks for hosting media uploads without a cdn....

If you do what I do, minio s3 with cloud flare CDN storage, you can make the best solution on the cheap. They cache everything from your s3 on their s3 cheaply

I think hrs doing Nostrudel stuff too

Yup. He recently just added old-blossom support to it...
