I'm from South Africa.

Vaccines were hoarded and kept away from Africa because Europe and America not only bought all the vaccines but thought that COVID could be a "solution" for the "African question".

I recall many, many people pleading for PPE and vaccines only to be denied. Even our president cried on National TV.

We weren't even allowed to manufacture vaccines, let alone precure them.
