Are you familiar with Arnold Ehret's book "The Mucusless Diet Healing System"? In it, he argues that the blood is pumped through the body by the lungs, not the heart, and he compares the heart to a valve.

I have heard of the Mucusless Diet but have not read the book.

The heart is simply not big enough to pressurise every blood vein in our bodies.
