You ever wonder what it was about the Picts that scared the Romans so much?

The Romans weren’t scared of anyone. They would fight anyone.

And if they lost, they would fight them again and again until they won.

So what was it about the Picts that made the Romans so scared they built a wall all the way across Britain to keep them out?

People usually site some barbaric act as if that was what scared the Romans. Like the Romans weren’t used to barbarism. Must not have studied history to believe that was the reason.

Its a curiosity…

I was impressed at the remains of the central heating the Romans installed at the Hadrian's Wall forts. And bathhouses, with steam rooms.

Wonder if that was the only way they could get troops to serve in such a dismal climate :-p

🤣 you're probably correct, it is abysmal ⛈⛈⛈
