The Macintosh Double Plus was designed to be twice as good as its predecessor - it featured double the pixels, width, floppies, and a pair of 8Mhz 68010 CPUs. Its planned successor, the Double Plus Good with a pair of 16Mhz CPUs was thrown down the memory hole.
