Few know that Satoshi programmed Bitcoin's money supply to grow indefinitely, forever.

The code Satoshi wrote would re-issue a new supply of 21 million bitcoins every 64 block halvings.

i.e. A new max number of coins every ~250 years.

We now know this was probably an unintentionally introduced bug in bitcoin's code which was later fixed:
