Lmao I love this. What did Saylor do recently though? News travels to me a bit slower than to others lol

He wants to add identities to the blockchain using inscriptions lol

That doesn't bode well.

I actually don't see anything wrong with this so long as it's voluntary. It was gonna be done by somebody. I prefer it be done by someone who actually understands Bitcoin, and that has no biometric data required. It is largely superfluous, yet it does not add onto the already existing scam of inscriptions, which are already rampant. It's actually a more efficient use of money, if someone voluntarily pays to have an ID made and Ocean miners can block them and make them pay dearly for it.

If you dislike Ordinals, heat your home with a miner mining with the right Ocean filter.

The thing is that you don't know if it eventually will be implemented. What if saylor collaborates after a year and proposes to include biometrics?

I suspect that there will be a biometric option. This proposal looks like it is intended to be a basic version that is extensible, and different companies will use whatever versions they prefer. Governments are our biggest threat, because they are the only entities that can force compliance to a particular standard on a massive cohort of people.

Free market activity, that is to say, voluntary exchange and open source development, is not your enemy.
