I resistance train 3x/w and get it done in ~30m (+ some PWO stretching). On alternate days I do 15 mins on a bike to maintain VO2 max and also try to get in at least an hour of walking. You can always do more from a performance perspective (esp if a pro athlete), but for lifespan/ healthspan you get severe diminishing returns that probably looks like spending more time working out than you actually gain on the back end of your life even if you don't over-train.

Yeah that’s really good advice. I’m definitely learning to balance myself more and could probably do better at it. If I just did what you do I would beat myself up with guilt…yet probably have the same heart / muscle benefits.
