Replying to Avatar poe😱

I look like a bum. Dishevelled. Self hacked hair in need of another. Oil stained sweatshirts and work pants.

I'm not sure exactly what it is I'm saving for. But it damn sure isn't to bolster my appearance with trivial materialistic improvements to my outward appearances.

Maybe I'm simply saving for the idea of freedom. And can't see a better way to participate in that than participating in the networks that most fundamentally support and empower it. Even if it is only with shoddy memes.

My advice is: whenever you need to buy clothes, follow these 3 criterions: orderly (organized?), polite and healthy.

That's what I do. I don't need to demostrate anything to anyone, but I need to demostrate respect and care to myself. I don't aim for more than that

Agreed.

It was more in context of I work in a dirty environment. And if I stop anywhere on the way home or midday I look like a filthy mechanic of sorts. Which I am. Things get stained.

Also for the livestock side of my life. "Nice" clothes for the sake of looking nice aren't of my concern.

Even if the garments are washed some of that never comes out of some items. It's bummy blue collar farmer esque.

I do have a few get ups for special occasions though. That don't include Tractor Supply Company 😂
