They actually teach keynesian economics through and through which is worse than not teaching any finance at all.
How many teachers are financially literate?
How many parents are financially literate?
How many parents value their children being financially literate?
I don't think anyone's gatekeeing any information. Some people trust the government to be the ministry of truth, but without the government I'm not sure much changes.
So many people trying to teach financial literacy are ignored. It's a wider societal issue.
