Thanks for the reply.

Marketing… sadly not aligned with who I am. It would feel like joining the enemy, again. Unless it is for something I truly believe in…

English is my third language.

Coding… I tried in the past, never clicked.

It’s easier for me to focus on the big picture and how elements are interconnected (my strongest mental aptitude) than it is to concentrate on details and isolated tasks. I spent a fair bit of my professional life on education curriculum design and overviewing project management without being directly involved in the projects, consulting of sorts. I think that’s where I was the most engaged and productive. It’s like playing sudoku.

Sounds like product and project management with experience in education?

This is not the first time I get extremely curious about the buzz word “product management”.

First I heard it was from nostr:npub17plqkxhsv66g8quxxc9p5t9mxazzn20m426exqnl8lxnh5a4cdns7jezx0 and i understand it offers contact with other minds and big picture thinking, both aspects I crave for.

Now I need to understand what I need to study to then stand a chance in the job market… what’s the path from little to no experience to potential gigs/employment.

From my own xp, product and project managers make my life so much easier. Pmp cert was recommended to me by a solid pm. He said just study , cert only if u went but concepts are learned without cert toom

Helps to have some xp in the project/product domain. Makes you super desirable as a candidaate.

Good luck on the journey!

I found some great introductory content over at university.atlassian.com will follow that for a while

Will probably have to go down the cert route at some point (it is a FIAT world after all) but want to first focus on grasping the basics and maybe find projects to help

🙏 my exchange with you was very beneficial, it took the little motion I had and propelled it forward

Job hunting is buzz words LOL
