Love Panic.
Followed them around, solo, on the Everyday tour, 1993. West coast steez. Good times, great shows.
While this song is about drug addiction, you can easily replace drug addiction with the fiat monetary system, and this is an anthem for Bitcoin. https://open.spotify.com/track/5rd5B3BbGkiXlyf49rGpHb?si=RSECwrzsSlObWMzPMtDrkA

Jealous of you. I didn’t get into them until 2013 or so, post Mikey. I’ve probably been to 75+ shows since then. Making up for lost time.
Haven't seen them without Mikey, in fact, last full album I bought of theirs was Ain't Life Grand.
Their first 4 albums I know by heart, kinda haven't listened to much of their "newer stuff" 😂.
You've definitely seen them more than I have, but I did see a special acoustic show at a small, small club in SLC back in the day. It was a night to remember, for many, many reasons, lol.
You should get back out to a show. They still kill it. Plus Jimmy Herring really is incredible. I only listen to the live shows on various platforms. I find them much more aurally pleasing.
Haven't been to many live shows, of any sort, in ages. In the last 10 years I can think of 2. Ween last Tuesday, and Devin The Dude about a year ago.
I need to get out more. Living isolated in the woods with 2 kids under 10 had a bit of impact on things. I do get exposed to live music, as we have it every night at work, though....
I need to make an effort to see Widespread again, I deserve it
