If you are off on your taxes by $10,000 then you go to jail for 3 years and get a $250,000 fine.
If I enter my gains in one reputable tax software and do the same in another reputable tax software, they are easily off by $10,000.
Anyone getting a #CP59 let me know. They could be sending people to jail arbitrarily for using bitcoin. #taxes
