Weird thing I learned today:

King Charles the 6th of France had a disorder called ‘glass delusion’. He would sow iron rods into his clothes because he thought if he were to bump into anything his body would shatter like glass.

Apparently this mental disorder was only widely recorded in the 15th-17th centuries. What an odd thing, eh? Especially considering it was only prevalent in 2 centuries

Surely if he did bump into anything, the iron rods would shatter him too🤔. He should have been using a high density foam protective suit, surely.
