that's still a very cool story, uncle Bob. I was re-reading lean six sigma recently and realising the black belt certification was a good way to market the product - it builds hype. But back during engineering days, it was just a must have on the check list for career advancement. Processes are useful to uplift from bare minimal to an average standard, but if it limits and restricts than likely those people are the above averages
