My understanding is:

1) the author of the quote via the nostr app may or may not have the option of tagging you, in addition to quoting the note, and

2) notifications can also be handled differently across apps.

Can you tell me which app was used to create the quote?

No problem. I’m curious to know which app as well. I sometimes wonder if it could also be a relay thing. I just remember getting notified of quote posts. 🤔
