I'm learning that's the case. Saw a note ages ago about how we associate memories with things, but that's not really the case and how the memories are inside us. It resonated and I wish I'd bookmarked it because I can't remember the name of the book it was from.

I let go of my entire apartment contents two years ago and got it down to 9 bags to move from KS ➡️ AZ. I only regretted one thing i gave away, a piece of art, but I bought another one right before the artist discontinued it. So all good! 😊

That's awesome! I need 9 bags for my yarn and fabric 😂🤦‍♀️. I also have a bunch of cool glass stuff in curio cabinets that the goal is to whittle down to one cabinet. It's all family stuff, so I'm really struggling with that.

One day I will live in a tiny house and I can't be having 2,000 sq feet of crap crammed in it.
