Oh yes, for the bitcoin related stuff I’m all good with cold wallet etc

What I wanted to learn more about is computer stuff in general. Ppl here talk all the time about relays, open source and here I am not even knowing the difference between an application and a protocol.

I started the computer science block on Kahn academy to get the basis, but I was looking more for a practical oriented approach.

Since the subject is so wide I’m afraid to spend 100 hours studying lots of theory I could have done without.

Not sure if I am making sense

Not sure about here on Nostr, but check out these guys for general networking literacy. These guys are really good at boiling down the home network and go through everything from tutorials to product reviews to help you get what makes sense for your desired setup: 1. Networkchuck

Nice starter video: https://youtu.be/xBIowQ0WaR8?si=UVCtlq78qEr_qaDc

Techquickie- a bit more niche nerd-"talkie" steeper learning curve as his audience is established IT people.

Thanks much appreciated, I’ll have a look 😁
