It probably comes down to math but after hearing treasury companies are “brilliant” because “stock dilution is also bitcoin accretive”— that could be the sleight of hand. Yes the company is buying more bitcoin with your diluted shares, but does it really mean you get more bitcoin (or value) per share?

Say you’re diluted 2x but the company’s BTC stack only grew 1%? On top of that, the speculative attack is likely helping to destroy USD purchasing power, which is a component of the value of your share of the company.
