* At least 16 people died during the protests, according to opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.

* A total of 1,062 people were detained during the protests against Maduro's regime.

* Members of the Russian mercenary group (Wagner Group) are reportedly operating alongside regime forces, with allegations that Cuban agents are also supporting the regime.

* Opposition leader MarĂ­a Corina Machado has called on Venezuelans to return to the streets.

* Brazil and Colombia abstained, and with Mexico absent, the OAS did not approve a resolution calling for transparency in Venezuela's election by one vote.

* Maduro declared on Wednesday (31) that his main opponents, María Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urritia, "must be behind bars."

* The U.S. representative to the OAS said, "It is clear that Edmundo González Urritia defeated Nicolás Maduro by millions of votes."

* Brazil agreed to represent Argentina's interests in Venezuela after the expulsion of diplomats.
