Deprived of visualisation. Just something light that anchors you in the present and “real”.
I like to simply concentrate on the weight of my body and try to hear all surrounding sounds without listening to them.
If I start visualizing, I either try to close the third eye, but if racing too much I soft open my eyes briefly to turn it off.
I mainly focus on breathing and keep my imaginary focus on forehead. It works for me most of the time.

“Imaginary focus on the forehead” interesting, I think I do something similar when attempting to close my third eye. Never expressed it that way though…
