Literally the only thing keeping me from getting a bitkey is the inability to reconstitute the wallet outside of the block stack. If I could spin up the wallet in sparrow and use that in the event of catastrophe, that would be the tipping point for me.

Are you familiar with the Emergency Access Kit and how it works? It allows a Bitkey customer to transfer their funds to another wallet in the event Block's server and app are no longer available.

The ability to access my pkmat for at least two of the keys is important to me. From what I understand, the emergency access kit requires you to still use a side loaded version of the bitkey app. I understand this may not make sense, but I am an irrational ape.

I understand that’s the line you straddle with designing the bitkey though. Obviously don’t necessarily want to expose that to the average user
