Thanks, Karnage and Tony. I think this is a result of poor implementation of Discovery and topic search in general. People don't know who to follow, they can't easily search for known names, and so they universally follow all accounts that someone else follows. Consequently, they are flooded with posts dominated by Nostr and Bitcoin and are unable to filter through them effectively. Implementing searches by hashtags and lists of the most commonly used ones can help. Another option would be to support filtering posts by user-defined account groups and separate timelines for each group.
