It would be an understatement to say that differentiating what’s essential from what’s extraneous is nontrivial. It takes a lot of work. But perhaps more importantly, it takes a proper understanding of priorities. What is “decentralization,” why is it valuable, how do we achieve it, how might it fall apart? Beware those who might try to confuse you on such things.
