I like to think I'm above falling into full cult mindset. I try anyway, like here with you :)

I see your point on the experiment, though it's a bit exaggerated. You do say there's room for improvement, which I agree on. From what I gather the issue is a rapid increase in them while at same time protecting manufacturers; that's pretty much my whole position actually.

FWIW, im a bit weird too, and I like it that way.

Not a fan of special callout legal protections, but not a fan of laws in general either.

Every new invention brings out a wave of luddites declaring it the destruction of civilization. We're still here. Science doesn't scare me, the law does.

Even our mistakes like lead, asbestos, and CFCs have generally been resolved in a generation once we spotted them.

Avoid if you wish. I'd argue that anti vaxxers dying of diseases with working vaccines is evolution putting its finger on the scale favoring intelligence. The vaccines definitely have tiers of scientific support and people who only see all or nothing are making a mistake in critical thinking.

Very reasonable, and in line with my beliefs

Now we hold our breath and wait to see if a "legally mandate all vaccines" or "legally ban all vaccines" cultist shows up to tell us how wrong we are first. Bsky, I'd bet option 1 but I'm going option 2 on nostr.

Easy bet haha. Try not to get swept up in outrage du jour, but this new push for health reform seems overdue, so I'm liking the discourse for time being

The last round of health reform only made things worse. The people leading the current push are also arresting people for skin color and doing everything short of saying the word eugenics.

The guy leading our healthcare system has no medical or science training but he did have his brain eaten by a parasite and likes to take his grandkids swimming in sewage.

I don't exactly have high hopes.
