GM nostr! ☕☀️

Sunk time for no benefit is always a little disheartening but well worth analysing lessons. After spending 4 months looking through thousands of oil wells to identify low risk clean up projects, I've realised I don't trust the production data available. Time for a plan B!

Negative: lots of sunk time

Positive: Have honed my modelling and geological skills which will come in handy when I figure out plan B!

GM. Bloody hell man🙄.

Plan B. Sell sea shells on the sea shore😬.

Find other potential resrrves, build up a play and go look for investment

I'll put in 0.00025BTC, how many barrels will that secure me😬.

Interesting you say that. I was saying to a friend recently that if one gets both oil and gas, and wanted to mine btc, could make nostr portal for people to invest btc to buy miners and automatically distribute based on investment. We could take a cut to cover maintenance and a bit of profit but individuals could mine with free energy

That's something I'd be interested in, if it ever becomes a going concern👍🏻.

One has to try and I will go back to studying data and see about opportunities. I just finished a well for a client and theyre considered fairly complex but kept it 95% in zone. It's frustrating to know once that's put online, it should produce 8-12m USD in first year and I get no cut but one hones skills until opportunity arises right!

You should have engineered another extra long pipe off it, to tap your own off, they'd never notice😬😂.

Its fairly evident when looking at pressure etc during production. Its why one of the best wins I had for a company when bumming around the office looking forsomethung to do was realising they'd fucked up a well plan and would have accidentally drilled into the Iranian side of an oil field. My guess is watching pressure gauges drop in those circumstances would result in interesting diplomatic conversations fairly rapidly!

Ha ha ha, yes, I'd have thought so😳.
