TRUE STORY OF THE AMBASSADOR HOTEL ROOM SWAP DURING THE RFK PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

So this whole “end the CIA” thing @jack just posted is prompting me to share this story. Because it’s not just the CIA. And why would a man — RFK Jr. — want to run for President if he thinks his father & uncle were deleted by that organisation—it makes no sense.

Unless he is trying to finish what they started.

Here’s the story: my step-grandfather was as far as I know the California media campaign coordinator for RFK. And he stopped working on campaigns because he was traumatised by what happened since he was at the hotel that night. Now as a kid growing up you hear names floating around and don’t always get what it’s about. So, I knew he worked on a campaign for A Kennedy and I just assumed it was JFK. But when RFK Jr. started showing up on The Tube with his campaign I figured out said Kennedy Campaign was actually RFK’s not JFK’s and this story came up that I can grasp now that I’m grown. Perhaps I heard it as a child but did not pay attention. Or perhaps I did not hear it. I do not remember it. In any case, it goes like this:

My step-grandad had a room at The Ambassador hotel and was, as I indicated above, the California communications manager for RFK’s Presidential campaign. Now, what happened that was strange? The hotel gave his room to someone else. How do I know this? Because my grandmother called him and someone else picked up the phone. Who picked up the phone? This individual, a prominent journalist, later confirmed having gotten my step-grandad’s room at a DC dinner party. He remembered this story and complained as if his room had been given away to my step-grandad whom he knew of, but I believe it was the reverse. So double confirmation that it happened in any case. But my step-grandad was in the room FIRST. So it was HIS room given away not that he was assigned to someone else’s room. And he worked for the campaign so journalists follow them not the other way around. And the man who took his room is a Well-Known and Highly Regarded Journalist.

Additionally, if my grandmother called the room it means my step-grandad had ALREADY been assigned to that particular room. Generally they don’t give you the room number until check-in, right?

The reason this is an important point is because where do the media often encounter candidates or other news “targets”? Entries and exits. So entries and exits are always crucial for high-profile people with security teams and of course for the media. So, campaign media coordinators especially the top one, would have—I assume—knowledge of entries and exit pathways for their candidates. Everything on paper back then. If this journalist was given the media coordinator’s room AFTER the coordinator had already been assigned the room and moved INTO the room and therefore had his luggage, papers, & briefcase in it then this could potentially be a leak of information to the Journalist who perhaps is not primarily acting as a Journalist in this case but as an Informant and then could have given the information to OTHERS i.e. those with nefarious intentions not just reporting.

Who the Journalist is and the Room Story is true but the rest is All Speculation. Also I have not read any books or research on the subject of what happened there so I don’t personally know if this story appears somewhere or not but I assume not and won’t post the journalist’s name in case he actually was involved as well, obvious reasons.

Of course they took down the historic Ambassador Hotel. Should have been preserved.
