I think you guys should first get rid of paying taxes back to US even if you are not living there. That seems like the first layer of the problem.

Lots of great options out there… I live in Paraguay 🇵🇾 zero tax on all income earned outside the country and easy residency program… Costa Rica is also tax free on foreign earned income, and there are other options throughout the world
