Yea methinks its all about control and making everyone have newer (kill switch enabled) cars
Having an older vehicle that's realiable and manageable to work on is gold
I really have a hard time understanding people that value sovereignty and autonomy buying a Tesla that can be flicked off at any time
using electricity as the 1 monopolistic power source with no other options is just a bad idea...
And yes tracking cars like Subaru demonstrated, and even a friend showex me he had leased a F150, brought it back at the end of lease and the dealer never even changed the network key FOB, so now he can start & stop a truck which is now hundreds of miles away at will...
What a mess...
