I’ve been skeptical for awhile because I wasn’t interested in buying nfts and it was too much out-of-pocket to convert my artwork into nfts.

Yeah I would just stay away from NFTs entirely. “Crypto” too.

Take the time to study why Bitcoin is unique, before making any monetary decisions, and you’ll be glad you did.

Better yet, read them all!

What kind of artwork do you do, btw?

Drawing with graphite or ballpoint, and painting with watercolor. Sometimes a mixture of both, which I just call “illustration”. You’re the first one here to ask!

Very cool! If you want, you should share some of it here.

Tags like #art and #artstr will help bring more eyes to it

You may even find yourself getting zapped just for sharing it ⚡️🤙

Thanks! I’ve posted a couple of things to #artstr and #watchstr already and I’ve been happy with the response so far. I can’t believe the bot posts that pop up about some airdrop crap that’s “now live!” as soon as I post anything though

Oh good!

Yeah the bots are annoying. Keep muting them - they don’t get replicated as quickly as the ones on Twitter.

And I believe there’s a feature in the works to show a single line of “posts by muted users” in your replies instead of one line per muted account (right, nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 ?), which will help clean up the general visual effect.
