just remember that Palantir stock went up post-October 7th because Alex Karp had to convince the world that it was necessary to identify and neutralize anyone who criticized Israel. was probably shocking to find out that that was basically everyone. "anti-Semitism" as a modus operandi for mass surveillance is a bit sticky because then you have to identify who to cancel first. that's a tough one because the backlash these days is almost instantaneous.

of course, these fluctuations are pretty normal with the wall street bros because it's all mostly a PR game. at some point, it just may be that the people get the hint that these technologies are only useful in the public sector if well-regulated, and absolutely unacceptable in the private sector due to rampant violations of civil and constitutional rights. will the Palantir ever implode? probably not, but the usefulness of it depends on Sauron and his orcs. most people just don't see a value in knowing everything unless they're psychopaths, which Peter Thiel is.

I honestly can't wait to find out that the NSA/CIA/FBI has been collecting info on even the Big Black Orb Mafia and is just keeping it all a secret until the Palantir-PRISM divorce. the day those dossiers leak will be such a glorious day. I frankly think it's time to kick the PayPal mafia to the curb once and for all.
