The biggest hurdle we have is painless video uploads. Free services are limited in file size/video length and payed services require bitcoin and an upfront investment.
In terms of apps: Amethyst (Android) already has a vertical video view, iOS clients still need some work for better video UX.
Video creation is not a priority IMHO. Either the TikTok app or other video apps can be used for that.
The “pain” is from the “free” delusion that most TikTok users have.

I really do think they can come to understand this.
I agree. Might take some repetitive messaging, persuasion, and patience however.
