There are so many books that could be now easily filmed (Heinlein, Zelazny!...) . But honestly I'm glad current Hollywood is not touching them, not ruining another part of my childhood like they already did with so many others 😅
Some of the books are a bit old now, but they still hold for most part because of how consistent they are internally. Maybethe most dated is Snowcrash, but it's still fun and consistent world/story to dive into. If you are looking where to start, perhaps try Diamond Age or Cryptonomicon (not really a scifi, nor is it about any shitcoins). But I like all his stuff, so many interesting concepts.
