So never do tapsigners and multisig?

It depends. I just know there is no way my wife could recover a tapsigner. They are good if you, assuming you're a super bitcoin nerd, want to take a million sats to a conference or if you live in a place where $200 is a ton og money.

For multisig, you're betfer off with an MK4(The Q is cool too, but more expensive) a seed signer, and another hardware wallet with a secure element. You could so use a service like Unchained or Casa instead. This is useful if you think your family will need help with recovery.

Timelocked multisig is the best solution so far, in my opinion.

Liana is interesting. I'm not sure it has TapSigner support yet, but the timelocks are neat. The security structure being built around these wallets are also facinating, but it's very early days.
