I talked about it a lot after Oct 7, which was a hard time to defend Palestinians given what Hamas just did. But I was very familiar with the sequence of abuses over the last 75 years. After that I paid far too much attention. It affected my ability to get stuff done. So I mostly stopped paying attention for awhile now. Then I heard about the UN resolution and had a glimmer of hope. Then that hope was dashed by Israel ignoring the UN. It hurt too much so I again stopped watching and probably won't watch closely for a while until some big event breaks through into my awareness.
As long as international organisations are monitoring the abuses, I don't really have to watch, and it hurts too much to do it. But I did think it was important to argue, to sway public opinion, when public opinion was broadly divided. Now public opinion has been swayed quite significantly (Israel pretty much made better arguments against themselves than I ever could have) so I don't need to keep on talking about it.
