My grown-from-a-pit avocado tree is taller than me now. 😀 I am a proud mom to my house tree--it's beautiful & healthy--but I wonder if I can/should do anything more for it. It's just one thin trunk that needs stakes. Is there anything that can be done to encourage a thicker trunk or branching? Or is this what you normally get growing one in a pot?

That's awesome! I used to have a beautiful grapefruit tree in my bedroom 😀

I'm thinking it may need a bigger pot to grow thicker. Also, potted plants will generally need to be fed. You could see what nutrients avocados need the most of and give it a dose and see how it responds.
