Here's an example of why property seizure by the US government to fill it's own coffers is a fucking terrible precedent.

The victims of this predator stand a chance at some type of restitution if those bitcoins can be unlocked from the wallets. Much better they go to victims of this crime than into the hands of the US government, an insolvent institution.
