They are very quiet, even on the high setting. On high the heat is nice, but still not oppressive, could definitely keep your toes toasty.

Enough to warm up a small area? (8x8ish)

8x8in, yes. 8x8 ft, would need a few. 8x8 meters, nah 🤣

Damn. Well they are a great price regardless. May end up grabbing a Heatbit because my office is damn cold so I need a heater 😂😂

Be warned. Once you get ANY home mining device you begin to think of your home / space as “The Mines™️” and you will feel a pathological urge to scale your production of “the bitcoins™️”- costs and practicality be damned. I’m pulling in 550-650 sats per day and now I’m like “what would I need to do to scale to 10k sats per day?”

This all started like 3 months ago with a single Bitaxe…

😂😂😂😂😂😂

sounds familiar. many hobbies, occupations, pass times are like this. how much does it cost in electricity ballpark to run a bitaxe per month?

Bitaxe. Negligible.

3 Canaan Avalon Nano 3s on Medium/High…I’ll have to check the bill next month 😂

ok. i'm interested in the costs... 'cause yeah... you BTCfreaks have this middle-aged Zen-bum thinking about mining. all started by me finding #Nostr and listeing to you guys haha.

Yes. Exactly. Home mining is not about cost, profitability, practicality or rationality. It’s is about enjoying the dance with the benevolent machine 🪐👽🔮🌸⚡️🛸💜🧡👾🌌

sounds like what i've been up to since i was about 4 or 5 years old TBH.

Plus the KYC free sats 😉

I concur! I'm thinking how to be able to afford a few kilowatts of solar panels and batteries in order to eliminate energy costs. 🙆🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🙎🏾‍♂️

WHAT ABOUT THE NIGHTTIME? THE MACHINE NEVER SLEEPS!
