Almost all of the next (XXL-sized) Woodrow Wilson episode of Dangerous History is recorded, & I've also edited a good chunk of what I've recorded so far. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to get it all done & published during the first half of the coming week. 🤞

CJ, have you ever covered the Eisenhower/Patton/Nixon/Kennedy dynamic and Eisenhower's role in the forming of NATO and the intelligence community?

Short answer: Yes.

To add a little bit more: I find Eisenhower to be one of the most interesting Americans of the 20th century. Lots of tensions & contradictions, though I think a case could be made he was the least bad POTUS post-WW2, all things considered. But he was really bad on unleashing the Dulles brothers to start the CIA on its path of destruction ever since. Possibly the only thing I think Truman was better on than Ike was trying to keep the CIA on a very short leash.

My conspiratorial gene is starting to wonder if today's media-IC merger was carefully architected by him alone, and it was designed to propagate war propaganda into the indefinite future as a result of his role in reconstruction in occupied Germany.

I look forward to it!
