Thanks for reading, mate.
I reckon, time is the lynchpin here. Fear is often just a side effect of a lack of time. Time to read; time to learn; time to question; time to think. The world is full of time sucks even without the advent of fiat currency. And, like everything else it touches, fiat unnecessarily makes fear that much worse by literally stealing what little free time you have left over at the end of the day in order to (maybe) focus on something thoughtful, beyond the mere administration of the day.
Understanding time as a subjective and interconnected aspect of your own being-in-the-world allows you to seize the present with mindful intention every day. Bitcoin, as a time preserver and appreciator, enhances the opportunity for mindfulness, because it helps to foster a low time preference, which therefore enables you to invest more time in yourself, your family, and your community, for your future and theirs; thus contributing to more realistic and achievable objectives at more appropriately local scales resulting in an increasingly higher quality of life for all.
"Man can only come to a true understanding of himself when he grasps clearly the significance of thinking within his being. " - Steiner; Body, Soul and Spirit.
Fear doesn't stand a chance when the good life is found just beyond discovering Bitcoin. Like anything, you gotta want it, I reckon. πΆπ
We have an infinite amount of time because we are more than just our meat sacks.
The fear runs deep & it affects our perception.
It's really hard to feel our infinite nature without shedding some of that fear.
Will I see you next weekend brother?
With steaks? It's entirely possible πΆπ
