Morning Nostr! Been MIA this week, I had a racoon attack on my coop a few days ago that resulted in a dead chicken and my favorite little hen severely injured. She’s improving a bit day by day, but she’s still in her own cage in the garage.
Sandy fought off the racoon like a G and saved the rest of the flock.
Got the coop repaired and reinforced 🙌🏼

Oh no! Sorry to hear this, damned predators are always an issue. We had a bobcat issue not too long ago, when we had our chickens loose in a large run. Now we have them in a smaller area, but more secure. Hope the survivors keep getting well.
