In #[0] recent piece he refers to Genesis 47, wherein the peasant class of the Egyptians have run out of money. Joseph, a refugee Jew, has ingratiated himself with the Pharaoh and is in charge of the treasury.

A 7 year famine strikes Egypt but Joseph has prepared well and the storerooms are full.

In the 1st year he sells food to the peasants until they have run out of money.

Next he exchanges their livestock until finally he buys all the land in exchange for food. Now they must work the land and pay the treasury 20%.

Ironically they are all very grateful and swear allegiance to the Pharaoh.

They literally own nothing and are happy!

In 2030 will we let history repeat?
