I really don't know how my wife deals with me.

I accidentally discovered that some of the Energizer rechargeable batteries I'm using (I use a lot) are 1300, 2000, and 2300 mAh. They all look the same. I should have verified. But I'm in charge of recharging everything and making sure critical and non-critical devices remain powered.

What bugs me is that I had them mixed in various devices. Can't have it. I took the batteries out of every device in the house, did a full inventory, and made a spreadsheet for which batteries are where. Now everything is separated and in devices that make sense. Except now I have to order more to make everything match.

I couldn't let it go. Am I cooked?

I empathize with this 🤙😂

No but a device or two could be fried slightly sooner. SWIDT

Fortunately everything is still working fine.

No, you're not cooked.

Also, I think you rather proud of yourself, and that's what your wife likes in you. You absolutely normal (if I'm the reference 👀.)

(couldn't resist to step into the role of your agony aunt)

Sounds exhausting

It is. But I've found that once I get annoyed enough to make a system, things go to easy mode. I'm getting to the point where I want to just start that way for everything so problems don't grow so large. I have 24 battery powered simplisafe devices on top of the usual household devices and other critical safety items. Even our cat feeders have backup batteries 🫠

Firearm lights, optics, vehicle fobs, adjustable base remotes. So many goddamn batteries. Lol

I categorically don't buy nonrechargables anymore

There are a few exceptions for me, but I try not to wherever possible.

Mine have serials on them and the spreadsheet notes where they are currently deployed by serial.

Maybe we're cooked together?

Hahahaha I started digging deeper than mAh but stopped myself. I have to draw a line or I'll go way too far. Although... Nah. 😂

I think youve found your people. You're in the right crowd.

Perhaps 😂
