I'm a boardgame geek 🤓 .. you could go with Uno or Scrabble, but there are a lot more available out there. Here are some favourites ..
At home:
Catan (a good staple of tabletop gaming)
Carcassonne (place tiles and make weird landscapes with cities, roads and meeples)
Botany (new, but really good, I think you'd like it)
Alhambra (place tiles to create your Alhambra and gain points for different buildings etc)
While traveling:
Exploding Kittens (card game with elements of Uno)
Travel Catan (I play this every time I travel)
Backgammon (good travel game)
Zombie Dice (quick and simple roll and write game)
