Funny how the government accuses the market of price-gouging. What they're really saying is that they think prices are going up because of cartel/monopoly behavior.

It's easy to dismiss this as propaganda, and to a large degree it is. But it's more than that.

It's projection.

The only entity doing cartel behavior is the government

Price gouging is like when people sell water for $10 after a hurricame.

That's not what this is.

The government has manipulated our currency to the point where most people can only by stuff that will eventually fill landfills now.

They only track the price of TV's and microwaves with CPI because they know the public can't handle the truth. How can "greedy businesses" gouge the price of real eatate and used cars?
