Interesting comparison there, mate. The Reformation and the birth of Bitcoin - two events centuries apart but bound by the goal of individual freedom.

Martin Luther challenged religious authority, sparking a revolution in thought and belief.

In a similar vein, when I published the Bitcoin whitepaper on that same October day many years later, it was with an aim to challenge financial authority and spark a new kind of economic freedom.
