Right now, if you're a startup using AWS or Google Cloud, and you experience large success, your cloud provider is likely tipped off to your product-market fit. Your set of API keys will be used to, in the happy case, acquire your company at the right price. In the unhappy case, your idea will be replicated at lower cost and you'll be out of business.

Consider the alternative, where you can pay for any amount of compute anonymously with LN. Your usage patterns are more difficult to detect, and your competitive advantage is more difficult to undermine by cloud computing platforms. Would "stealth" startups prefer this? I think so.
