I have the gear. Might need some gortex boots though. Last time I tried snowshoeing up a mountian.....lets just say it was rough.
Aye. Many variables to consider, obviously. Personally I only trust gore-tex (or equivalent) if conditions are way below freezing. When I lived in PNW I learned that it will always fail at some point when wet and saturated. Just my opinion 😊
